Bandipora, Mar 26 (KNO): A day after the four persons from Hajin area Bandipora tested positive for COVID-19, at least 65 persons have been put under quarantine in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, among them three suspected shifted to SKIMS Srinagar hospital. While talking to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials said that all the relatives and those who met the four positive Covid-19, persons have been put under quarantine in a Centre established at Kashmir Tibbiya College Shilvath Sumbal, to protect its spread. “They are 65 in number, of whom three have been shifted to Srinagar hospital. Pertinently, four persons who tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday evening had participated in a religious congregation along with an infected person from Srinagar, who died today morning at CD hospital. Meanwhile, an official spokesperson of district Bandipora administration said there shall be complete closure of all places of worship. “No religious congregation shall be permitted without any exception. “However, in case of funerals, congregation of not more than 20 persons will be permitted.” No movement of persons, assembly, gathering or procession shall be allowed in the whole District including Towns and Villages and no public / private transport shall ply in the District till 14th of April, 2020, he said. The DM as per spokesperson, also a complete shutdown of all the offices except Health, Police, Home Guards, Civil Defence, Fire and Emergency Service, Disaster Management and Prisons—(KNO)
